Attention, anime fans!
The University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando will host Knightrokon, an anime festival, on March 3, 2012, at the Student Union building on the university’s east Orlando campus. Anime lovers of all types are invited to attend.
Sponsored by Anime Spot, UCF’s anime club, the convention will explore all aspects of the anime world. Featured events include an AMV contest, an Anime in Real Life photography contest, a combined costume/cosplay contest, a “Whose Line is it Anime” showcase and a Murder Mystery game.
Featured guests are two of anime’s busiest voice-over actors, Kyle Hebert and Wendee Lee. Herbert is best known as the narrator of DragonBall Z; Lee plays Faye Valentine in the Cowboy Bebop series and also has had roles in Vampire Hunter D and Robotech.
Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information or to enroll in the contests or games, visit http://knightrokon.com.
